Listservs

The Regional Research Institute maintains a 'listserver' for numerous groups as shown below.

1. Listserv for regional science members interested in issues related to regional science (regsc-l)
2. Listserv dedicated to the enhancement of communication among regional science journal editors (rseds-l)
3. Listserv for the promotion of discussion and information sharing issues concerning engaging in regional science oriented consulting (rsconsult)
4. Listserv for Southern Regional Science Association members interested in issues related to regional science (srsa-l)
5. Listserv for SRSA Presidents who wish to discuss and share issues concerning the Southern Regional Science Association (srsapres-l)
6. Listserv dedicated to the discussion of matrix adjustment and estimation methods, including biproportional, multiproportional, and any other adjustment or estimation approach (matadjust-l)
7. Listserv for WVU individuals who have an interest in Appalachian Studies (wvuasg-l)  
8. Listserv for WVU faculty and students to receive information on RRI seminars and workshops (wvusem-l)
9. Listserv for RRI faculty to discuss information regarding the Regional Research Institute (wvurri-l)
   

Subscribing to the listservs is easy. Send an e-mail message to: Mary. Myer@mail.wvu.edu with the following text: sub xxxx-l name, affiliation. Here is an example: sub srsa-l Randall Jackson, Regional Research Institute, WVU. Your name and affiliation must be brief (i.e., your email address, name and affiliation should be less than 60 characters long, including spaces). In reply, the LISTSERVER (a computer process) will generate a mail message telling you that your subscription is active and providing you with additional information. The list is updated continuously as people subscribe or unsubscribe.To unsubscribe from the list, send a message to: listserv@listserv.wvu.edu with the following text: unsub srsa-l
