Brief Bio:

Haixiao Huang is a Post-Doctoral Fellow with a joint appointment in the Natural Resource Analysis Center and the Regional Research Institute. Haixiao earned his Ph.D. in Resource Economics from West Virginia University (WVU) in 2002. He was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2002 until he returned to West Virginia University in September 2005. His current research focuses on issues in coal production economics, environmental economics, and the relationship between trade and the environment. He is the author of more than 20 journal articles and proceedings papers.
