  John Quigley is the I. Donald Terner Distinguished Professor, and
    Professor of Economics, at the University of California, Berkeley.     Besides the Department of Economics, he also holds appointments     in the Goldman School of Public Policy and the Haas School of     Business. He directs the Berkeley Program on Housing and Urban     Policy.

Honorary Doctor's Degree:

Quigley received an honorary doctor's degree from the Royal Institute of Technology (11/07). The citation read "Quigley is regarded as the world's eminent researcher in the fields of regional and urban economics, as well as in areas related to public ecocnomics and infrastructure investment."
