Research Interests:

Primary research interests are in regional economics and development and related issues in labor markets, human capital, geographic and occupational mobility, and demographic change. Secondary interests are in resource management. Publications fall mostly into one of the following three categories:

  Regional economics (regional, rural, and local development)
  Labor issues (human capital. labor mobility, demographic change)
  Resource management (amenities, planning, and energy)
